Attitude:

  • You constantly strive to improve the team's performance through positive leadership, and  look out for ways to improve the team's welfare

  • You foster the growth of your team members by setting and tracking professional  development goals 

  • You are resourceful in operational problem solving and driving 1% improvement each day in  the face of limitations and challenges

  • You show the initiative to take on, prioritize and execute projects that add value to the  venue through to completion

Culture:

  • You show accountability towards your team above and below you towards the Mission of  the venue, and the necessary steps to achieve the Mission

  • You make decisions fairly and in accordance to our values, especially in 'grey' areas where  being right or wrong is irrelevant

  • You are a proficient communicator and act as a collaborative bridge between ranks,  departments and venues

  • You effectively conduct formal and informal performance reviews of your team to foster  the culture and excellence of your team

Technical:

  • You implement all SOP, provide input and work to create/modify others where needed and  share them internally (upward and downward)

  • You act as a single point of accountability on the delivery of convivial hospitality on shift  and for the shift

  • You execute and update the menu, service style, events and marketing efforts consistent  with the brand positioning and objectives of your venue

  • You develop and showcase a persona/personality consistent with the ethos of the venue  towards your team and the public

  • You generate a positive impact on revenue by optimizing capacity, turns and spend at your  venue
